Yo, what up party people in the place to be now. Not too much (pronounced "any") partying going on just lots of work. I finally got a new computer thanks to the generous contributions of my father. The new 17' macbook pro is now in effect. Which is great news for all the projects i have been dreaming up forthe past 5 months. I know i said i wanted an iMac but portability is HUGE for me right now. I'm also getting a hard drive enclosure so i can access my old hard drive. Next in line; internet at the house.

Currently i'm sitting in the Library in the AUC waiting for Naked Light to be released. Naked Light is a new image editor for Mac OS X Leopard. It's the first native Leopard applcation to be released and it's supposed to be FIRE. 3 hours and 35 seconds remain in my wait for nodal compositing. nstead of layers Naked Light works on nodes which can interact with each other instead of being applied linearly. *COUGHGEEKSTUFFCOUGH*

So far Leopard has really catered to my A.D.D Fueld computer using habits. things such as
1)spaces - which allows me to use up to 16 virtual desktops and tab between them really quickly
2)stacks - i download stuff and look at the contents of a folder as a floating array.
3)quick view - preview any file with the press of the space bar. great for looking through 10,000 pictures as i do on a regular basis
4) icalendar and stickies - mac applications that are keeping me organized in thes, the first fw days of my foray with the macbook pro. bills are getting paid!
5)garage band - who needs a $400 dollar amp for your electric guitar, i have a computer and $80 speakers which allow me to simulate all kinds of sounds.

Gmail isn't letting me set up pop forwarding right now....

Oh Yeah,
I am nowworking as an intern for Blue Sky Agency here in Atlanta. Blue Sky is a marketing agency that does web and design work for some pretty cool and big names. I have a really good feeling about this and am glad i got a laptop just in time for this new opportunity. This agency seems like a really god fit for me, most of their stuff is photo based so i know i will be working with designers, photographers, art directors and web designers. I'm really looking to increase my web skills as far as basic web pae building, flash and php. Those 3 things will help me fly far far away from retail computer selling.

Working in Lenox Mall is pretty high profile so i get alot of exposure to creative professionals all day everyday. Almost every day i get someone's business card who does what i'm trying to do. Apple has been a good place for me to meet software developers, CIO's, designers, videographers etc. Bt now it's time for me to start working with them.
